Motorized Ripplefold Drapery

My family room draperies are completed and I think it was worth the wait. Take a look……

This is the track that I won from Somfy when I went to Inspire. The track can be ordered for pinch pleat or ripplefold draperies.

Here is a close up of the ripplefold heading. It’s a great look for more modern settings and the stack back is less. The track is attached to a wood fascia that I painted gold.

The fabric came from Spoonflower, they are a company in NC that prints custom fabric. The designer was so great to work with; she was able to adjust the color and pattern repeat to exactly what I wanted.

I think Zoe likes the new look. What about you ?

That was my first YouTube video…. Could I sound any more Southern ?

Treating your window with the ripplefold drapery is just amazing. I find it cute and elegant. The color blue of the drapery is just perfect for the rest of the colors of the living room. It brings a fresh and joyous mood to everyone living in that house. It feels like you’re in a luxury hotel.

The drapery is likely a representation of relaxation and coziness. If I were to choose to live in a colorfully designed living room, I would prefer one that has few neutral colors. Blue and white are my favorites as they bring calmness to the living area. I hope you can post for some tips on how to make it.
