Installation of the Week

Wouldn't you love to have space in your home to turn into your dressing room ?  That's what my client did and I made these lovely drapery panels for her new room.  The fabric was a cream colored linen with blue floral embroidery.

We used hardware from Helser Brothers' Artigiani line.  It is their leading line of iron drapery hardware and has over 40 finials, 10 custom finishes and rods ranging from 7/8" to 2" diameter.  We chose the crown finish and it is so glamorous !

I have to share pics of her pet chickens, they are so cute........

The "leopard" chicken was my favorite !

  9. Wow, Tammy, it's a strange coincidence, I just made bedroom drapes (French blackout) with I'm pretty sure the same fabric! I have a picture on my blog from Wed. May 12th but I had the camera on the wrong setting and the picture is awful but I posted it anyhow! If I remember correctly the fabric is Mulberry? Yours look good with the top tack; we used two-finger French pleats. With the French blackout these drapes are heavy!

  14. I like chickens but hate stepping on their poop. My Grandparents used to let their chickens run around their farm yard and when we came home we had to clean the bottom of our shoes. But they're fun.

    Beautiful drapes!
