Valentine’s Day Mantel

Here’s my Valentine’s Day inspired mantel.

It was fun finding and making things for this one.  I’ve never decorated the mantel for Valentine’s Day, so thanks Beth for having the party.  I left up my Eddie Ross wreath for this but I promise I’ll take it down soon.

I bought the little boy and girl plaques at an antique store a long time ago, they were hand painted by an artist in NC.

I saw these cute X and O frames that Jen over at Tatertots and Jello had featured and I had to make some too !  That required spray painting some old frames in the snow, hot pink velvet and flat floral stones.

The Love frame was a gift from my niece that got some snow spray painting action too !

Why yes that is a shiny disco ball hanging from my ceiling fan cause I’m just that cool…… lol.  Yay, it’s Friday. I hope you all have a great weekend !  I’ve been working on a redo for the Master bedroom that I will post on Sunday or Monday.

  5. How pretty! Glad I popped in your blog and saw your cleaver mantel decorations. I haven't decorated for Valentine's lately (divorced 4 years ago and didn't have a Valentine!). This year I still don't have a Valentine to share it with, but I like the decorations so I'm putting them up anyway. :)
