Out with the old and in with the new.
Goodbye 2009 and hello 2010.
Goodbye dark, dreary green door and hello new caramel latte BM 2166-20 yummy new door !
I wanted a new door color and it was either plum/purple or bronze/orange. The caramel latte won ! It almost makes me want to park in the garage and walk around to the front door. Or, I could paint the door inside the garage the same color ! The garage is my next big project, it needs to be painted and organized.
This is my first post using windows live writer and I’m not sure if I’m doing it right !
Love it - change is good.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you!

ReplyDeleteI can see your post. I tried it and my posts didn't show up on Reader for 3 weeks in Dec so now I am scared to try it again

Nice, Tammy! I'm itching to paint our front door, but we need to get new siding done and I'm figuring I should wait until we finalize that. Right now it's white, but I'd like to do either red or black.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! Don't ya love how something so simple has such huge impact? Front door colors are so fun to change out. hhhmmmm...ours could use a face-lift, too, come to think of it!
ReplyDeleteI love the new color, it really pops, great choice.
ReplyDeleteLeAnn:)

I love the new color!
ReplyDeleteIt really changes the look of the house and it probably didn't take a lot of time. I really need to re-paint my front door this spring. The color has faded.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the color you picked! So warm and inviting!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sassy color! :-) Great transformation.
ReplyDeleteOooo...I love the caramel color. So much more interesting. Good for you for taking that step.

ReplyDeleteI love that - so bright & pretty!
ReplyDeletePS - I just now saw your comment on my MBath makeover on the DIY Show Off & I wanted to answer you. I did use primer - it's the Zinsser primer that sticks to all surfaces & the black soft gloss paint on the vanity. Thanks for the nice comment!
Tammy, love the new door. From a feng shui perspective, it's a great thing because your door is kind of hidden on the side. This new color will bring new energy into your home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by the other day!
Nice change! I like it.
