My home is casual in feel, so I'm afraid a more tailored style might look stiff. One of my favorite looks, though, are bamboo shades with soft sheer panels on the sides. <br />Your shades look wonderful in the bedroom suite, and fit the style to a 'T'. I have also used stripes in some of the rooms as well. Some are with a valance, some are under stationery panels or drapes, and I love that you get the fabric at the window {without needing a lot of it} and a functional treatment.
