Fabric Friday

I’m working on something whimsical today…..

Kitty Toile meets Laura Ashley.

Scalamandre

This Scalamandre fabric is “Killkenny Cats”, they are having a tea party and frolicking in the garden.

I’m still a fan of toile prints in small doses. Back in the day (I’m officially old enough to say that) this is how we did toile bedrooms, everything from the walls, windows and bedding was in toile.

This is the perfect amount for me now……… I’m not sure who did this room but I love it and the relaxed romans make the space.

Haha! Love those pants, Tammy! I love toile, too, but I don't think I'd love it as much if I had it on everything like that one bedroom. I love the kitty one and I've seen other kid themed toiles that are just precious. I'd love to see what you are making with it.

Shana, it would look so cute in a little girl's room but, that's not where I'm using it.
Kathy, it's a gift so it will be after Christmas before I post the after ;)

Oooh I love those Killkenny cats! I have a little leftover piece of that in blue that I've been hoarding for years!!
okay you have to take a picture of yourself in your toile jeans and post it. Now that we know about them!

I'm still a fan of toile. There's just something so romantic about it. Especially in pink! But I've never seen that particular print. Fun!
