Why should you work with an interior designer ?

They can visualize the end result.

I just finished a job for one of my designers that turned out beautifully despite the concerns that the homeowner had after she brought the fabric home.  They got a great deal on a very expensive fabric  but she was worried that she wouldn’t like it and could only focus on the birds in the print.

Her designer had the vision to see all the fabrics, paint and wallpaper come together.  We chose a quilting pattern that really highlighted the design.

Do you see one bird on these draperies ?

It’s now her and her husband’s favorite room in the house !

I can't see any birds!! I guess if you're the homeowner, that's a good thing! I love the point you make about seeing the overall vision of a space. It's what designers do best. Thanks for making the point. The workmanship is beautiful!

I'm not anonymous, but the screen didn't come up for me to leave my name, so that's me up there!

It's so true. Clients often focus on the littlest thing that really has the least importance. And you need to trust that the designer has done this a hundred times and knows that you will love the end result. I don't see a single bird, just a beautiful room!

Looks great, and I did not see a single bird...

Hi Tammy, I was looking and couldn't see the birds. I think that seeing the end result is a gift that decorators can sometimes take for granted. The room is beautiful, I really like the wallpaper, too.

Tammy, was that a Laura Ashley embroidery? It looks like one of hers I used (but it was hydrangeas). Looks gorgeous!!

I can't see the birds either, which perfectly proves your point! Great job on the room - the color palette is so pretty and restful.
