Fabric Covered Christmas Trees

Christmas is only 3 days away and I haven’t made anything festive…….. until today !  I saw these fun Christmas trees made of fabric at The Exchange and Cyndy gave such a great tutorial that I’m going to direct you to hers if you want to make some.

I’ll be giving these away as Christmas presents so they were made to coordinate with each person’s décor.  But in the meantime they’ll be safely hanging out up here……………

The one in the back right was my practice tree so I’ll be keeping that one.

I didn’t have any poster board on hand so I used pellon from the workroom, which is a stiffener like interfacing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS FROM TAMMY, ZOE AND SANTA !

I saw those, too, Tammy, and loved them! What a great display for your office, too. A neat way to show off fabrics and trims and a great way to use up some of those smaller pieces that won't work for a pillow or window treatment.

So pretty! Bet you could make some mini ones with the thread cones.

Have a Merry Christmas, Tammy.

Very cool idea... and a great way to use up the extra trim that you have laying around the house! (Does anyone else hoard ribbons?)

Tammy- Those trees are so lovely! I love the tall proportions and the beautiful trim. I know you said they were made for different folks, but as a group they look so pretty together!

I'm following your blog now, so appreciate watching someone with creative talent like you have!
