It’s Friday, Let’s Party !

DSC_0242
Jane from Finding Fabulous is hosting Frugalicious Friday, it’s a day dedicated to sharing your fabulous, thriftiest…most Frugalicious home decor finds.  How can you not love that name ?
My Romantic Home is having a show and tell party.  Doesn’t that bring back memories !
On my last trip to the flea market I purchased my first pieces of milk glass.  I know absolutely nothing about it but I liked these pieces and I got all three for $ 5.00.
I have a project in mind for the napkins rings and the thimble is for the month of August and will go in my thimble collection.  All of this for $ 2.00.

This necklace is like one made by Annie Albers, it was in an exhibit at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.  I made this one following a tutorial from HERE
I used a piece of ribbon that was 60” long and about 25 washers that were 3 different sizes.

Found this Henredon buffet at Goodwill.  I will hopefully get to paint it this weekend.  He’s going to be handsome !

And finally……. I WON a giveaway at Low Tide High Style !  Yippee, I’ve never won a blog giveaway before.  I got this beautiful Raku pottery bowl made by Lili and Henry from Fearless Nesting.  They have an Etsy shop where they sell pottery and felt purses.  You can read all about how they make raku pottery HERE  Thank you so much Kat and Lili !

I don't know why we are all drawn to certain things but mine is bottles. have fun with your new addiction, hehe,Kathysue
