Amy Butler Purse

Yesterday I blogged about how I wanted to get some Amy Butler fabric and make something...... So,  I did ! I bought some Sandlewood in color Tangerine from her new collection, LOVE and made the Swing Bag .

For the inside of the bag I used Honeycomb color Fuchsia from the Midwest Modern collection.

I really needed a model and nobody was home to take a photo so I got Zoe to be my model.

What do you think she's thinking ?  No, really feel free to add a caption........ She doesn't look very happy !

I also got some of the Sandlewood in Turquoise for an upcoming project.  I'm really excited about this one.

I'll be joining the Show and Tell Party over at My Romantic Home and Frugulicious Friday and Tatertots and Jello's Weekend Wrap Up Party and Kim's Basket Party at Cheap Chic Home

I'm so impressed that Zoe cooperated so nicely! You're right, she doesn't look totally happy, but I'm amazed she stuck around. She looks great with her fab new bag.

I can't believe how you just "whipped that up" so quickly. I love it. I'm really partial to that turquoise color...can't wait to see what you do with it.

Amy Butler has such a track record for fabric. You did a nice job. Pooch doesn't look overly happy about modeling :).

Zoe is just thrilled to death to be sporting your beautiful Amy Butler bag! I'm absorbed in your blog, I use to make window treatments also. I did not have that amazing work room that you do, one reason I stopped sewing for others. I sew only for me and my home is always in a mess of threads, fabric scraps, and such.
I have a black lab, shedding her winter coat, I might add. I use those lint rollers like water on everything, especially my white linen slips.

I think she is thinking "I told her to go for the green fabric!"

First, your bag is gorgeous! Amy Butler fabrics are always inspiring. I want one. Second, your doggie so does not look amused about being the model. I think all she is saying is, "I am soooo humiliated. She thinks I'm the baby and is dressing me in a bib. Help." :)
